Quick trip to PA

Andrew and I just returned from a week long visit to Pennsylvania. AP had lots of fun playing with his cousins (dancing, having tea parties, reading), following PopPop everywhere he went, snuggling with MumMum, and chasing Jack-dog around the house. He also got a huge kick out of wearing the leis PopPop and MumMum got on their recent trip to Hawaii. Thank you everyone for a truly nice time. We benefited greatly from the change of scenery!

Side note: Andrew was a real trooper in the car. Now that he doesn't sleep 5-6 hours out of the 7 hour drive...I was a little worried how it would go. He did great! Looked at his books, pointed out all of any cars or trucks that drove by, and sang with Mommy. Even in a one hour back up delay on the way home he maintained supreme composure. I'm a lucky Mommy! Thank goodness for small miracles.

1st Haircut

Andrew's first REAL haircut. He's had trims by me and a trim by a strange guy at an empty hair salon...but, this was the first time he sat on his own in a barber shop chair and got a complete haircut. He did great. He did not enjoy being sprayed with the water bottle but, he did like seeing himself in the mirror, looking at and talking about the cars on his cape and playing with a hair clip. Here are before and after photos. I hardly recognize him! Although, I'm glimpsing the little boy he's becoming. If you thought he looked like an Osler before...what do you think now?

April

We've recently changed computers so, I don't have access to all of my photos. But here are few good ones from April. Grandmom and Pop Pop's visit in the beginning of April, swimming lessons, a turkey fry with Mark's Uncle George Osler and more.

Welcome!

Thanks for coming to check out the new blog. As you can see, I was able to transfer all previous posts and links over to this site. This made me very happy! I will be updating soon with some pictures from April to include Andrew's first swim lesson!

Silly photos and a new buddy

I (mommy) recently gave Andrew another haircut. I think I need to ask Mark to give him a shave. Check out that beard!

Future member of Pi Kappa Alpha??? (I swear this photo was not posed. Andrew put Mark's hat on backwards and headed into the kitchen. We heard him wrestling with something and found him hauling a case of empties towards the living room. True story.)

Welcome Hayden Bryant Ruthven! Congrats to Trey, Lindsay & Sarah.

Easter

We had a lovely Easter this year. There was a basket from the Easter Bunny, we went to church and Oma & Opa, Aunt Erin, Uncle Dan, Duncan and Ivy came to our house for dinner. Everyone had a lot of fun. We even got to play outside! Yeah!

Spring ???

It can't be. Mommy tells me Spring doesn't start until mid-June 'round these parts. Still, we're starting to get a whiff of Spring! Yesterday, Oma took Aunt Erin, Ivy, Mommy and me to the New England Flower Show. It was a lot of fun. We saw lots of pretty flowers:

Froggies among the lillies

Turtle in the daffodills

And I saw my buddies out sunbathing...

Roscoe, Lavender Lab and Percy catching some rays

And today, we played outside for over an hour without my hands turning to ice.

We only came in because Mommy said she was getting tired. Personally, I could have stayed out all afternoon. I love being outside!
